This project aimed to create an impactful and eye-catching poster design to raise awareness for suicide prevention. The design utilized experimental typography and incorporated elements of the real world to deliver a powerful message about this important issue.
WHAT I DID
As the graphic designer for this project, I was responsible for conceptualizing and executing the poster design. Through this project, I demonstrated my ability to create compelling visual designs that effectively communicate important messages and engage the target audience. BRIEF
The goal of this project was to create a visually impactful poster that raises awareness about the need for education reform in the USA. The design should highlight the limitations of the current schooling system, emphasizing that not all children learn in the same way, and advocate for a more flexible and individualized approach to education.
WHAT I DID
I created a powerful visual representation of the core message: breaking free from the constraints of standardized testing. The poster features a child's hand emerging from a pile of standardized tests, set against a bright teal brick wall. The hand-lettered text symbolize rays of light and hope for a better future in education.
I chose the contrasting colors and hand-lettered design to evoke a sense of inspiration and possibility, challenging the viewer to question the current state of education.
